CH GRHBCH OLINGER'S POLLY WANNA WABBIT has been bred to IFC GREENBAY BUTKUS!!!
Polly was just bred this past week to IFC Greenbay Butkus who is now owned by Tim Ogrady of St. Clairsville, Oh. I am very excited about this cross. Neither Polly or Butkus need much of an introduction. Polly excelled in the UKC Hound and Hunter Trial circuit, winning both the 2008 UKC Black Gold State Race Junior Division in Ohio, and then following it up in 2009 with the UKC Black Gold All Age State Race Division win in Ohio. Polly is a heck of a hound. She has extreme hunt, with extreme speed. She recently won the Large Pack Hunt (Spring of 2011) held at Tick Ridge Beagle Club in Kimbolton, Ohio. Like I stated earlier, Butkus needs no introduction. He is an AKC International Field Champion. He also sired this year's AKC Large Pack National Champion Greenbay PawKing. Butkus is a true 13'' male measuring at 12 3/4''.
CH GRHBCH Olinger's Polly Wanna Wabbit wins the UKC Spring Large Pack Hunt at Tick Ridge Beagle Club.
Polly won the 15 inch combined class at the UKC Spring Large Pack Hunt at Tick Ridge Beagle Club in Kimbolten, Ohio. Polly looked really good during the hunt, on only a couple weeks of solid training.
Pups out of HBCH CH OLINGER'S SINGING SADIE X GRCH GRHBCH WHITE RIVER RAMBLING STRIKER are here!
Sadie had her pups on July 11. They are now 15 days old. The pictures that I am posting here are at roughly one week old. She had four pups, but one died soon after she gave birth to it. It was a complicated process. Being that there were only four pups, they were rather large. One of the pups got stuck with only about and inch of the sack out of her body. We called the vet and he told us to bring her in if she had not had the pup within in an hour. Well an hour went by and we loaded up the two other pups that she had already had and headed for the vet at 4:30 in the morning. While pulling into the parking lot she had the other pup, We were at the vet for a couple hours while he had oxygen on the pup that was stuck. He said that since she had a small litter, this allowed for the pups to gain a lot of nutrients from mama before they were born. The larger the litter, the smaller the pups because they have to divide all the nutrients up a lot more ways. However, we are left with two males and a female, all of which are marked nicely. I am undecided on whether or not I am going to sell a pup or two right away, or wait until they are a little earlier. However if you are VERY interested in a pup at this time fill out the form on the contact page and I will get a hold of you. Pups have had their first round of worming yesterday (7-25-2010) and will be wormed again in 10-14 days.
